Opera 3 Update For Barclays BACS File Format
Check your Opera 3 version as there is an update available for the new Barclays csv BACS file format:
Opera 3 – Barclays BACS File Format Enhancement
We would like to make you aware of an enhancement introduced in Opera 3 v3.02.12 onwards, relating to the creation of BACS payment files for Barclays within the Purchase Ledger and Payroll.
What has changed?
When using the Barclays BBMII/Lite format, Opera 3 now generates the BACS payment file in CSV format.
What do you need to check?
If you use Barclays for your BACS payments, please ensure that:
• The correct BACS file format is selected within Opera 3.
• The corresponding BACS import format is selected within your Barclays banking portal.
• The format selected in Barclays matches the file generated by Opera 3.
Why is this important?
Selecting the correct format in both systems will help ensure that your BACS payment files can be imported and processed successfully, avoiding potential errors or delays.
